Risk management built for real operations
Most safety help is box checking that looks good in a file and changes nothing on the floor. Betts Risk Group works differently. We embed with your team, get hands on with the real hazards and the real requirements, and give you straight guidance you can act on. For a decision maker that means safety led by someone who has done this work since 2007 across safety, law enforcement, investigations, and security.
On site, accountable, and measurable risk management across Central Florida and the Space Coast.
The OSHA readiness checklist
The same walkthrough list we use on a first site visit. Twenty two items, plain language, no signup wall beyond an email address. If more than three come back as no, you have a documented exposure worth a conversation.
Services built around your operation
Pick the entry point that matches where the risk actually sits right now. Every engagement starts with a discovery call, not a quote sheet.
DOT and FMCSA Compliance
Driver qualification files, hours of service, maintenance records, and the audit trail that holds up when a compliance review lands.
Read moreOSHA Compliance
Written programs, hazard assessments, and the recordkeeping that turns a general duty clause exposure into a defensible position.
Read moreMock OSHA and DOT Audits
We inspect the way a compliance officer would, then hand you the findings and the corrective plan before anyone with a badge does.
Read moreOn-Site Training
Confined space, rigging, forklift, defensive driving, and CPR taught on your site by a certified instructor, with attendance records you can produce on demand.
Read moreFractional Safety Director
Senior safety leadership on a monthly retainer, for operations that need the authority of a director without the fully loaded cost of one.

Figures above were achieved by the principal in safety leadership roles and are traceable to certified OSHA 300A filings and telematics reporting. They are presented as a record of professional performance, not as a projection of results for any prospective client.
Three ways to work with us
Scope is set on the discovery call and confirmed in writing. There is no published rate sheet because no two operations carry the same exposure.

Every engagement is led by the principal. Credentials below are current and verifiable.
What operators ask before they call
Either. Some clients have no safety function at all and need one built. Others have a capable manager who needs senior backup on regulatory questions and audit exposure. We scope to the gap that actually exists.
It changes which rules apply, not whether we can help. DOT and FMCSA work is a primary practice area, and non CDL operations frequently still carry DOT obligations that get missed. That is one of the first things we check.
Thirty minutes. We ask what your operation looks like, where you have been cited or nearly cited, what your insurance carrier has asked for, and what is keeping you up at night. You leave with a straight read on your exposure whether or not you hire us.
No. Scope drives cost, and scope is set by fleet size, headcount, regulatory footprint, and how much program work has to be built from scratch. You get a written proposal after the discovery call, not a number pulled off a page.
Start the conversation
One call tells you whether there is a real gap and what it would take to close it.
